Need a hands-on wingman to review your case or draft case documents (particulars of claim, defence or an N244 application)? We’re at your service.

Doing a case review early on, where problems can be fixed early on without greater expense, is a golden rule.

This service may include a 1-hour legal surgery where we will discuss and review your case.

Only after an initial assessment is made will your dedicated solicitor-advisor know how much your preliminary review or drafting work will cost. As such, please refrain from using this page for payment unless instructed to do so. Book our legal surgery first and send us your documents for an accurate quote.

Paperwork!

Please supply us your documents in proper order and contact us for a quote.

Civil litigation is about the proper preparation of documents, whether for a legal surgery, preliminary review or for your case generally. Judges are extremely busy and the more concise your paperwork is, the more likely they are to be read – and so more likely the judge will favour your case! Managing paperwork is key in litigation (and arguably even more important than the strengths and weaknesses of the case). Everything is decided on the paperwork these days, not in flowery speeches and advocacy in front of judges. It’s not enough to have a strong claim, you also need to present the paperwork properly.

For advice on how to prepare your paperwork, for both the legal surgery and for your case generally, go to (you might want to scroll to 2 minutes in):

Do I do this before or after a Legal Surgery?

This service may include a one-hour legal surgery, where we will discuss and review your case. This is because, only after the initial one-hour legal surgery is done, will your dedicated solicitor-advisor know what is required and will normally be able to quote the cost. But in some cases, for instance if you are already in court and there are pleadings and court orders, it will be difficult ot do justice to your case without having read the papers first.

How much will it all cost?

Drafting pleadings is obviously at the high end, sometimes as much as £1,500 or £2,000+. Writing a simple letter or making a simple application may obviously be nearer the lower end, £300. Send us the documentation so we can properly estimate before you spend any money.

As such, please do not use this page for payment unless instructed to do so. Email hello@courwingman.com and then send us your documents for an accurate quote.
